Creating a Configuration File

After starting Solomon Coder, the user interface only contains the video playback area and a table representing the coding sheet. While in Workspace Config mode the user can move them and adjust their sizes to create the desired layout. By simply double clicking on the icon of the program, Solomon Coder always starts in Workspace Config mode. This can be checked in the main menu: Program Settings \ Mode. The program automatically switches to Coding mode in case a video file is loaded (File \ Open Video... or Ctrl+Alt+O) or if a Coding Sheet is loaded (File \ Open Coding Sheet... or Ctrl+O). The user can switch back to workspace config mode any time during coding.

Configuration files can be saved by clicking on File \ Save Configuration As... or by pressing Ctrl+S. A file with extension .bcf will be created.
